On June 22, our Latino community will be voting in one of the most consequential elections of the decade: we’ll be electing a new Manhattan District Attorney.
With the retirement of incumbent Cy Vance, there is a competitive eight-way primary for DA. But electing the wrong person could have grave consequences for our community and for public safety.
So I wanted to let you know about the District Attorney candidate with the most support from the Latino community: my friend Dan Quart.
I can’t tell you how important it is that we elect someone who has the experience to maintain public safety. We need someone who will tackle gun violence, prosecute violent crime, and stand with the Latino community.
Dan Quart has been a state legislator for 10 years, and I know that he has the experience and principles to keep us safe. He also has the support from the most Latino leaders from all around Manhattan:
Assembly Member Carmen de la Rosa
Assembly Member Robert Rodriguez
Council Member Diana Ayala
State Senator José M. Serrano
Arturo Schomburg Democratic Club
El Nuevo Caribe Democratic Clubs.
Can you join me in supporting Dan Quart for Manhattan District Attorney? You can help out in two ways:
